- The Applications Specialist assists with the efficient service delivery to the various BU’s and Functions by attending to applications requests from the end users.
The individual also assists with the development, maintenance and enhancement of the application portfolio. - The Applications Specialist will report directly to the Shared Apps Service Owner
Responsible for the general health (stability and availability) of relevant application services globally and the delivery of all contracted services across the Organization - Oversees Application Development by ensuring effective governance on projects and report on project performance according to PMO standards (SBQ — Schedule, Budget and Quality.
- Oversees, and ultimately accountable, for the day-to-day operations and service delivery of local and offshore Service Providers, to enable a stable environment.
- Acts as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the business in addressing escalated/serious operational delivery issues with Service Providers globally.
- Focus will be on the shared applications in the organization excluding SAP (ERP) Applications ,
MES Applications and Desktop Applications.
